While it is true these aircraft were T-6 Texans, if the plane has Navy or Marine markings, the aircraft was designated 'SNJ'. Usually with a higher HP engine and tail hook. That this pic has no tail hook it may be a true T-6

Per Cirium: On June 01, 2025 this 1968 Cessna 401 experienced a right undercarriage collapse during landing on Runway 23 at Anderson Regional Airport, Anderson, South Carolina. The accident happened in daylight (1730L) and in VMC with winds from 250 deg at 11 kt, visibility 10 sm or more, clear skies, temperature 27C and dewpoint 14C. The aircraft was operating a flight from Twin Lakes Airport, Graniteville, South Carolina. There were no injuries.

Per Cirium: On June 4, 2025 this 1956 Piper PA-23-150 Apache reportedly ‘crashed’ into the Indian River Lagoon, about 400 m off Melbourne Beach, Florida. The pilot and passenger, along with a dog, were rescued and reported to be in good condition. The accident happened in daylight (1355L) with reported strong, gusting winds and light rain. There were no reported injuries.

Leadville, been there1X back in October 1967 flying an Emery Aviation (David & Lawrence Emery) Cessna Skylane, CE-182. N3195Q. which crashed a year later killing all on board. I was in the early licensing mode getting some mountain flying experience. with 2 on board the density altitude was the determine factor of why we chose to depart in the cool of the morning after an uneventful evening arrival.
